By downloading and using WeatherCue ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

WeatherCue is a weather insight app that translates weather forecasts into plain-language summaries and actionable suggestions. The App provides:

• Weather condition summaries in plain language
• Time-based weather change alerts and outlooks
• Home screen and lock screen widgets
• Customizable tips styles and display themes

3. Weather Data

Weather data is provided by QWeather (和风天气). While we strive for accuracy, weather forecasts are inherently predictions and may not always be precise. WeatherCue is for informational purposes only. You should not rely solely on the App for decisions related to safety, health, travel, or any situation where inaccurate weather information could cause harm.

4. Location Services

The App uses your device's location to fetch weather data for your current position. You can control location permissions through your device's Settings app. If you deny location access, the App cannot provide local weather insights.

5. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE APP.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

Weather insights and suggestions generated by WeatherCue are based on algorithmic interpretation of weather data. These are informational suggestions, not professional advice. The App does not replace official weather warnings or alerts from meteorological authorities. Always follow official guidance during severe weather events.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding in WeatherCue are the property of the developer and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without explicit permission.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Use automated systems to access the App's data sources

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
